St Andrews Ghost Stories by William Thomas Linskill (1855 - 1929).

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/st-andrews-ghost-stories-by-william-thomas-linskill/

Seventeen ghost stories (fourth edition published 1921) centered around the ruined medieval cathedral of Saint Andrew in the Scots city of that name. The author was famous in his time for his interest in ghostly apparitions. ( David Wales)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/56411
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Hi Dave, I've recorded almost all of these stories and they turn out to be a lot shorter than I thought. So I've decided to put two chapters together to minimize hearing our disclaimer. Would you please do away with the files 1 and 2 that I have already sent you. I will soon send a new file 1 that will contain both. Thanks, and sorry for the extra work. :help:

David,
Just upload the new section 1 and 2 files and marked section 1 as needing "spot check" and section 2 as "ready for PL." They will automatically replace the old section 1 and 2 files (which will be renamed and saved just in case you ever need them). When it becomes obvious how many sections you need I will delete the extra sections.

2 PL OK.

In section 1 you opened with story 1 not stories 1 and 2.
