I'd love to contribute another little part, but I'm overwhelmed by the size of this project.

Kim,
Thanks for the feedback. It's very strange though, I downloaded these again to make sure I uploaded the correct file. On my checker I get the following:
Tavern Patron 3 - Ch 2 https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/crimeandpunishment_tavernpatron3_02.mp3 Vol 95db - 89.2dB
Peasant 2 - Ch 5 https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/crimeandpunishment_peasant5_05.mp3 Vol too loud - 88.6dB
Passerby 2 - Ch 7 https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/crimeandpunishment_passerby2_07.mp3 Vol 94db - 89.4dB

Linny,
Checker under-reads the volume because it is an average of the spoken bits as well as the blank bits. I use replaygain to measure the volume of just the spoken bits. This is particularly prevalent in DR's. In normal readings the blank space is so little as to make no difference to the volume.
You don't have to adjust - I'm just noting for the editors use.

Kim, I changed the volume on this one. Would you mind toggling to PL OK?

Ok. Is this your first dramatic reading? Just start by saying "Nikolay read by [your catalog name]. Then read all of your character's lines with a few seconds between them. No need for any other intro or outro. :)
