Here are two Chapters of Louis XVIII
Chapter 11 is also recorded, but ran out of steam for editing tonight.
Neither my French nor Latin are very good, but I've tried to follow the pronunciation guide where provided.

Here is narrator Ch. 23:

a note on this one:

At 5:40, there is sentence that has two highlighted quote spots for Edmond in it. However, they're not spoken by him. They're phrases from an old, old Roman dude, that seemed best, really, kept as narrator portions. (I'm pretty sure this sentence spans the bottom of pg 2 and top of pg 3 of the script.)

I read the sentence first with the gaps for the quotes, in case you wanted to use somebody to read the Roman's words. Then I read the sentence whole, in case you like it better keeping those poetic remonstrances in the narrator tone.

So just choose whichever you want and toss the other. :)

I'd like to help finish up this project, but I don't think there are any female roles left (not major ones, at least).

Would the BC like to have a youthful-sounding female voice for any of the roles? :hmm:

Hmm, your right, thanks, we'll use the last one, where the narrator says it.

Hi, you're right, there aren't any major female parts left, but if you want a major part (and I do mean major) I don't mind having a female read for Albert or Maximillian. I think Albert would be best if your voice is "youthful female", because Maximillian is older and has been in the military. Or we have plenty of narration left to go. Or you can gather up lots of small parts and help out there.

Linny, chapter 2 & 3 are PL OK! (And ho boy is it weird to listen to my own recording from, by now, years ago)

Thanks for the info! (Sorry, I didn't read the first post of this thread until later...) I'd like to claim Albert de Morcerf (sections 55-83).

I love how huge this book is! So fun!
