Hi all. I'd like to read the Gaspard Cadarousse part, if it's not taken. He's such a smarmy, bad man.

Could someone please recommend a small, simple, part that I could volunteer for? Middle aged British male.

Here is Louis VIII Chapter 10 I had it as Section 151 but looks like it is now 130, so I hope I got it right. Kind of confusing. I have Chapter 11 recorded and ready to edit.

Hmm... I would say maybe Barrois, Monsieur Noirtier's servant. A slightly bigger part is Doctor D'avrigny.

Thank you! I move the sections whenever someone finishes a part, so just ignore the section number.

I think Barrois may fit. But, before I sign up, I'm going to have to check how hard the French pronunciation is and whether I have to speak any European languages.

I don't mind at all if someone grabs the part while I'm thinking about whether I can do it.

Sorry for the delay in submitting my parts but real life took over for a while. I am off work for half term so will be catching up with recording. Thanks

https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/montecristo_gaspard_caderousse_002.flac has been uploaded and is ready for chapter editing.

Kristen, I believe there is a script error in the text for this chapter, in the conversation between the 2 Dantes and Caderousse. I've explained it in my submission and read rhe part as if I were correct. You can cut out my additional lines if you disagree.
