OK, everyone, I've pulled all the files waiting for PL and will get to those tomorrow if not tonight.

I'm also blending this one into my current rotation of editing. This makes 4 of them at the moment, so it'll be slow going at first. :)

(Ciufi, since we know we'll get that last Freke chapter and my Voice bit, you can change the "FULL" to "EDITING" in the project name)

He's perfect :)

Before I mark this file PL OK and tuck it into its chapter file, I wanted to ask if you would like to keep the voice credit as is, or if you would like to make it match the pronunciation of the name that the narrator and his wife already used? (They startes with the soft "th", but they put the accent on the second syllable and used the short vowel for both the "o" and the "i") like this:
The OFF fill us

This is not a critical change, purely up to you. :)

Ciufi wrote: November 30th, 2022, 12:23 pm Okay, I just loaded Porter and Taxi Driver into the MW for NightMare. I was going to alter the pitch, but everything I tried sounded too odd. Besides, these parts are so spaced out and inconsequential that I think it will not be noticeable. But if you (Lynette) think I should alter them, I will give it another go. It is kind of fun to play around with it.
Porter and Taxi Driver are both PL OK

No, it won't be noticeable that she's read doubled bit parts in different chapters. :)

Ciufi, Soames is great! When I do the detail editing, I'll fix the spots where the pitch changing stuttered some consonants. It'll be slick. :)

I gave you a choice of name credit; if neither works please let me know.
Thanks for the choices, Jim! Mr. Williams is perfectly PL OK

Nice reading of Dr. Grimboldt, Greg! Both chapters are PL OK

Hey, I have a question for you - since this character has a little more substance to his lines, and your voice is distinctive, would you mind if I do a little pitch change when I'm putting these chapters together, so you don't sound like your first character? If that bothers you, I'll leave your voice as is. (barring normal clean-editing)

If it helps the project feel free to alter the tracks. I guess I should have been more aware of how I sounded. 😀

All: Nice work on the characters! My current dramatic editing queue: Pooh ch8; Hansom Cab ch15; Whose Body ch1; Thursday ch8.

Those are my four projects for editing. Pooh is almost finished. I'm not accepting any new editing or recording jobs until Whose Body is finished.

Each chapter takes me 1-3 days, depending on the amount of detail editing needed on them. And I frequently take Sundays off entirely from LV.

Just so you all know what to expect for pacing on the finish work here. :)

Thanks, and thank you for properly setting expectations!
Just to make sure it didn't get lost: I did go ahead and correct the pronunciation for Theophilus, hopefully to match the others.

Yes, you did already

I had pulled the file before you uploaded the update. The file tucked in is the corrected version. Thanks!

Lynette,

You noted above that both chapter of Dr. Grimboldt are PL OK, but one show in the MW as Ready for PL. I just wanted to point this possible oversight out to you.

Thanks!

Oh! Thanks, Greg - I did that with the Taxi Driver line, too. Both are fixed. 8-)
