awww but you were so endearingly pining away at the beginning of Act 4, how heart-breaking. But yes, all is well that ends well. George and Bella were really two mischievous rascalsalanmapstone wrote: ↑November 29th, 2022, 12:05 pmSir Charles acts 4 & 5

both acts PL ok, thank you Alan.
You are aware that you need to read the prologue for Act 1, right ? I only mention it in case you checked inside Act 1 and found that Charles does not appear there, but he is supposed to speak the prologue. More romantic pining

I wanted to get the role recorded before I started on the Prologue. It is recorded and should be with you in a couple of days

Wise choice in fact, that way you get into character.
Thanks

hehe, well we can assume that Ms Cowley wrote the prologue herself, so she was comfortable with the messages therein. You brought it over with panache Perfect reading and PL ok. You forgot the voice credit, but I made a note for Todd it would be found in Act 2.alanmapstone wrote: ↑December 1st, 2022, 10:52 amThe Prologue

Hi Todd, I'd like to claim the role of Emily
Matea Bracic

First Hunter/First Gentleman is in!
I think the "&c" on the last line of the chant is telling me to repeat some part of it, but it's not clear what. I rather like how it sounds to end it just there, but if you'd rather I try to find a good repeat, I'll do so.

If I may be permitted a second role, I'll take Mr. Morley in act 5. A man of a humorous and persuadable disposition.
Thank you. I can always copy and paste part of what you did if I feel so moved when I edit.
And doing Mr. Morley would be fine.
Thanks, Todd

the repeat is only the last line, "to be the first in at the death at the death"redrun wrote: ↑December 4th, 2022, 10:50 amFirst Hunter/First Gentleman is in!

Also could you give us the full voice credit: "First Hunter, First Gentleman, read by"
just one small error in the song:
> at 0:34: (p. 14) "equal to that which hunters know" - you say "those", but he means "bliss" which is singular
Other than that, excellently recited or rather chanted. Quite a chipper hunter, seeing it's probably early morning, when I would prefer to remain in bed
thanks
