Thank you.

that was quick nicely played, thank you so much. It is straight PL ok.Inkell wrote: ↑October 4th, 2022, 4:10 amCould I do Philopolemus?
EDIT: well it is here if you want it

Question for Todd: who would you want to record the final "players" speech, probably not all of us. I didn't record it as I wasn't even in that act. Inkell didn't record it but Beeswaxcandle did. If you want others to join, maybe you could mark it in the MW ? Or everybody who is in that final scene ? That would be Stalagmus, Hegio, Philocrates and Tyndarus if I'm not mistaken.
Sonia
As long as one player reads it (as I guess one already has), I am happy. I was going to treat it as part of stage directions but forgot to mark that in the MW.
Thanks, Todd

this guy is a big talker. In the final act, I wished he would get to the point already, not nice to be milking the situation so much. But i makes for excellent comedy, brilliantly played, Greg. ThanksGregGiordano wrote: ↑October 16th, 2022, 6:04 pmHere are the three acts in which Ergasilus appears:

Thanks, Sonia. I totally agree about Ergasilus droning on and on. As I read the part I just wanted him to share his news so that Hegio could go get his son!Kitty wrote: ↑October 17th, 2022, 1:09 amthis guy is a big talker. Poor lad, he's in such a state about the parasite well done, thank you, David.Salvationist wrote: ↑October 18th, 2022, 6:23 pmHere's the lad:

@Todd: why does it say "the same" in the MW ? Maybe this means, he's also a slave of Hegio (the same as the line above) it sounds odd like this and David didn't include it in his voice credit. Should he add it or maybe "a slave of Hegio" ?
Edit: see post below, so it's best you correct the voice credit and add "the same" to it still, just like in the book and MW
thanks
Sonia
It refers to the Lad being a(nother) slave (small "s") of Hegio just like the Slave of Hegio (big "S" - played by you) above him in the cast list. (See Page 423 of script.) I think it will make sense when the whole cast is together. But only if the words "the same" are in the Lad's voice credit.
Or, as you suggest, he could just add "a slave of Hegio" to his voice credit...
Thanks, Todd
