I always watch the waves in Audacity, it helps me focus on my speech and volume.

I put the screen to half Audacity and half text, which is fully enough for me. But I use a laptop, not sure, on a tablet or phone it's probably too small.

I use a laptop too but often it's still not enough space to show all of audacity and all of the text (it depends on how wide the source material pages are though, sometimes it is possible) then I also have a tiny box for Notepad with the Librivox intro/ending in the corner

I don't look at the trace all the time, only after a particularly shouty line when I worry. I can then repeat the line if necessary before going on - which is easier for me than trying to match my voice tone later during an edit.

Thanks, Todd

May I read the Chamberlaine? If so, would you like me to read "M." as "Master"?

Thank you.

M. could be Monsignor or Monsieur (out of town folk) or Mister (English).

Thanks, Todd
