OK, this one is NOT READY for PL.

I spent 6 hours on ch. 3, and then something glitched in the file when I exported it. (I had updated my Audacity the day before, so I'm sure it had to do with that.) The system couldn't recognize previous versions to restore that, so I had to go back and rework most of the splice draft. I've spent 5 hours redoing the detail editing pass, and don't want something to happen to the file again.

So this is just the almost-finished draft.
