Oh don't worry at all about making the small error. I've made some HUGE and very amusing errors myself along the way. Thank you for taking the time to correct it though. I had to redo this! In fact, I'm ashamed that I only had 34 seconds, and I had a silly error like that! I just did a very long chapter with no mistakes (probably my longest recording to date). I could not in good conscience let this one slip through.
I feel really bad that you had to ponder this. Next time, just say, "Carol, do it right!" "If you can't manage 34 seconds..." I know you're not allowed to be so blunt, but as a reader, it's my job to get it right the first time. This project takes a lot of work so surely, I can do my best, so you don't have to struggle with anything!
