COMPLETE[PLAY]The Stolen Heiress, by Centlivre - thw
hm the noise is still there, but now there is total silence at the end of the recording, as if only that part was cleaned.Dawnsvoice wrote: ↑June 26th, 2022, 9:44 amHi Sonia. I use Audacity and do the noise reduction same as you as well as no open windows, etc. so perhaps it is more to do with my microphone or something else. In any case, I made the changes and the time is now at 6:49.

And it can't be the microphone, as the next act was free from this noise. In any case, I managed to clean it totally when I tried the way I told you in my previous message, so I am wondering why it didn't work when you tried if you did it exactly the same way.
Well, I make a note for Todd to clean it up a bit, don't worry. The rest is PL ok.
Also here only one small adjustment to make:Lucasia, act 2 (3:56):

> from 2:25 to 2:30: between "Delightful as the Poets feign" and "The Elizian Fields" – you can cut the lengthy pause here as it's the same sentence. And I think they mean the Greek "Elysian Fields" here
thanks

ah poor Lucasia is in quite a dilemma now. I liked the final outrage she shows when she replies to the governor that she will never marry Pirro. dramatically well done.
Act 4 is a already PL ok.
A few corrections for Act 3 however:
> at 1:58: part missing (underlined): "No, whilst there's Asps, and Knives, and burning Coals; No Roman Dame's Example shall outgo My Love. – also I think you say "apps" instead of "asps"
> at about 2:21: missed line: "Else here I'll hold 'till my last Breath expires."
> at 2:55: "I'm ready, Sir" – "Sir" is missing
> the volume is quite low, it would benefit from amplifying with 2 or 3 dB
thanks

thank you Dawn, Act 3 is now PL ok. Though the new inserted lines are a bit on the soft side compared to the rest. But no need to re-upload, Todd will adjust the volume later on in the editing phase.Dawnsvoice wrote: ↑June 29th, 2022, 1:44 pmLucasia, act 3, edited (5:34)

Only one Omnes line missing in the final act:
> at about 4:55: please insert: "How ! lives !"
the rest was perfect, thanks

"Omnes" is Latin for "All" - so everyone on stage at the time speaks an Omnes line.
Thanks, Todd

oh yes, sorry, yes, it means "All" in Latin. Todd will merge all these voices very professionally and it will give a great effect in the final version of the play.Dawnsvoice wrote: ↑June 30th, 2022, 8:17 amI wasn't sure what omnes meant but I added the words to Lucasia, act 5

And Lucasia is PL ok now. Thank you, Dawn, and maybe I'll hear you in some other project again soon.
