Hi all. Alesandro Solano lines attached. I know PL is maybe not aimed at this, but I've changed my recording set up, and if there's any feedback about sound quality, please let me know. E.g. Is it echoey? Or "thin"? Somehow it doesn't sound as full as I'd like it.

Hey there! Alesandro is all PL OK

I apologize sincerely that it took me so long to PL these. I'm having neurological issues that require retraining of the brain, and the visual skipping of DR parts is problematic. So my queue is very slow these days :(

Regarding the quality of your voice, I can see what you were talking about, but that will not be any problem for this project. I "peeked" at your latest submission, and it sounds like you've already adjusted things.

Thank you so much for an excellent Alesandro!

(If you enjoyed doing dramatic reading, and would be willing to lend your voice in either of the other two projects linked in my signature line, that would be marvelous!)

Hello there, would love to read for Percival! I am not Jamaican/Caribbean myself but I think I can pull off the accent. However, definitely feel free to kick me though if it doesn't work for you, completely understood! Would not want to misrepresent. :)

EDIT: I see Percival's two parts are seperated, would love to read for both just for clarification.

Hi there :) Welcome to LibriVox!

Usually the BC answers these, but I know Scott won't see it until tomorrow afternoon. He won't mind me answering for you.

We'd love to have you read Percival's parts!

Have you recorded for a dramatic project yet? If not, bear in mind that the number portion of the file name is assigned by the chapter you are recording for, NOT the section number it is currently sitting on in the MW. (In DRs, these sections move around a lot during the project - for example, your Percival sections will be moved down to the Assigned Roles portion of the MW when I get your name attached to them.)

You'll need to do separate files for the different chapters, even if there's only one line in a chapter.

Don't forget a voice credit at the beginning of your first file for Percival (Percival, read by "your catalog name"), and to leave 3 - 5 seconds of silence between Percival's lines. You do NOT need to record the LibriVox disclaimer at the beginning or put "end of chapter so-and-so" at the end. 8-)

Have fun, and thanks for helping!

Hi Lynette. Thanks for the feedback. I did indeed change my recording location again. The new spot is quiet less often, due to both indoor and outdoor noises. But when it is quiet, and I can record, it is less echoey.

I would be happy to play parts in your other projects! :) It's fun, and so much quicker than reading a whole short story or chapter of something. I will check out their project pages.
