Oh no. I wish you a speedy recovery. I'm sending healing vibes your way.Salvationist wrote: ↑January 17th, 2022, 3:40 pmYes, that's not a problem. Considering that I am currently unable to record, I may need an extension myself.

Here is Miss Grenville! I apologize for taking so long with it. It's been a bit of a wild two months for me... moving to a new state, contracting more than one sickness (first the big C, then the second of which I'm just now recovering from), etc. I hope this works and I apologize for any wonkyness. I'm fixing up my new vocal booth and trying to get used to the setup as well as the mic, etc. It's been a minute since I've recorded for LV but excited to contribute.

Miss Grenville Letter 4. Everything is ok except I am getting an error on the checker. The MP3 Gain analyzer says your volume is at 86 so you need to bring it up a bit.bethyhope96 wrote: ↑January 17th, 2022, 7:26 pm Here is Miss Grenville! I apologize for taking so long with it. For some reason, it didn't take. I took the initiative to try again and it passed Checker this time. I've already up loaded it so nothing more needs to be done. On to your next fun project! May I suggest one listed below as my signature! Thanks for your efforts!bethyhope96 wrote: ↑January 17th, 2022, 8:52 pm Sorry about that! Here is is again. I pulled up the volume to 89. I couldn't figure out how to fix the plosives... I think I'd have to rerecord the whole thing. :/

Thank you for submitting your part, Therese! Unfortunately, this file is so muffled that I can’t understand what you are saying. Would you mind trying again?Aligator wrote: ↑January 18th, 2022, 8:50 pm G'day,

No worries; don't rerecord. I have the same problem and am now going to buy a $25 pop filter and try that. Lady Scudamore Letter 5 is PL Ok!feminerdist wrote: ↑January 19th, 2022, 11:23 am Lady Scudamore, letter 5, take two! (7:51)

Pop filters are great for reducing plosive problems! I bought one that I really like, but I’m told that pantyhose stretched over a deformed clothes hanger works well too.

That is what they used to use in recording studios.Salvationist wrote: ↑January 19th, 2022, 7:23 pm Pop filters are great for reducing plosive problems! I bought one that I really like, but I’m told that pantyhose stretched over a deformed clothes hanger works well too.

Apologies for that. I was having trouble with the recording, and wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. I'll try to get to it soon.Salvationist wrote: ↑January 19th, 2022, 5:46 pmThank you for submitting your part, Therese! Mrs Williams - Third Letter: Take 2. I cannot believe that I uploaded that! It was terrible! I don't know how I could have thought it would be fine.Aligator wrote: ↑January 19th, 2022, 8:53 pmApologies for that.
