Are we going for long or short "o" in Don?
Yes please!
I believe we are going for a short "o". I'm sort of following Sonia's suit as she has been pronouncing most of these names already in her Stage Directions.

Well, now it's a job well done :)

Yeah, you got duped by Victor Hugo . You've done a great thorough job of all of these acts - especially with your editing. I've had no comments at all, and this one is no different :D PL ok!

Such drama at the end. I do love a poison vial scene.

Great stuff Alan! :D

I just have one correction:
- at 9:05 the line "console yourself", the word "yourself" is cut short so it sounds like "yourse-".

When you have made the correction, would you mind reuploading with the correct spelling of the character "hernani_donruy_1" - rather than donrue, as above

Thanks a lot

Here is Dona Josefa Act 1

(I didn't find her anywhere in Act 2, so I think I've finished this character)

Fancy some fun character recording? Small parts needed in these dramatic novels: Clouds of Witness | Ivanhoe (DR)

You are right, sorry about that. I confused myself because I had written that she is in Act 1 Scene 1 and 2, and must've got muddled and thought it was Act 1 and 2. Sorry for making you look uneccessarily.

All good with your section, thank you Doña Caulkins - all PL ok!

Don Ruy act 3

https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/hernani_donruy_3.mp3

I don't think I have ever before recorded so many lines for a single act :?

N.B. I have included some lines at the bottom of page 92 which are not marked for Don Ruy but which I think should logically be spoken by him rather than the King. Perhaps you can decide about that while editing :hmm:

May I read Don Sancho? And am happy to read a conspirator part as this is in a different act.
Regards.

Sorry it took me a little while to get to this.
Thanks for this - I agree with you, I think the p.92 lines should be for you.

No comments! All PL ok ... thank you so much, I know it is a massive part so I appreciate the time you've put in.

Yes please! And if you could do a conspirator too, that would be wonderful.
I'll give you First Conspirator - I think they're all pretty much even. But if you had a different one in mind, just let me know and I'll change it.

Thanks
