hehehe, I suppose not, but it is a hella fun place to work, you even get to help with a revolt!

At ~1:57 the word 'and' is missing:
Well, now, you'll need heavy stuff for that. I'd say at least three heavy-duty
paralo-ray pistols for side arms, and three shock rifles. Then you'll need camping
equipment, synthetics, and all the rest.
One way or another, we get a lot of gear. A man is discharged from the Solar Guard and he can keep his equipment, then he gets hard up for a few credits and so he comes to me.

Here is "Astro's Guard" for Chapters 13 and 14. Unedited raw files without noise reduction or compression.
Astro's Guard in chapters 13 and 14 PL OK.
That said, there's quite a bit of background noise in your recordings - I'll need to process these tracks carefully to get them quieter without damaging your voice.

Most of the 'P's and some 'D' sounds are popping in your recording - not something I can process out. I'd love to hear you record this again with the same mic placement except rotate your head about 45 degrees right or left so you aren't puffing directly into the mic. I'll send a private message with additional info.
I've marked this See PL notes for now.
Much better, thank you. No popping Ps in your new recording, this one is PL OK.
So you know, there's quite a bit of DC offset in your recording. I didn't see this in your previous upload - I'm not sure what changed. See Tom Corbett's -- I mean, Phil's -- tutorial on what it is and how to fix it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gze0qOPea1E
It's nice to know there is a super-easy fix built into Audacity

Argh. I have no idea what's up with the DC offset, since the levels look fine on my end. I don't think I did anything different. I swear, goblins must be altering the settings every time I use audicity.

Yep. A 'bit' of a learning curve to Audacity. Once you get it working things should settle down. Audacity remembers your settings between sessions, so it'll act the same between sessions.
