Thanks, Dawn
Hi! You did a great job of capturing the haughtiness of Lady Greville!
Here are some notes for edit:
The file name is fine. You just need to amplify the whole track by 6. Let me know if you need further instruction on how to.
0:31 increase silence to 3-5 seconds before your next line.
2:59 increase silence to 3-5 seconds before your next line.
3:07 increase silence to 3-5 seconds before your next line.
3:21 increase silence to 3-5 seconds before your next line.
4:23 increase silence to 3-5 seconds before your next line.
4:25 increase silence to 3-5 seconds before your next line.
4:30 missing word "But"
Thanks again for this really great contribution!

Thank you for presenting this great contribution of the forceful voice of Lady Skudamore!
Letter 5 Lady Skudamore notes:
1:30 increase silence to 3-5 seconds before your next line.
1:50 increase silence to 3-5 seconds before your next line.
2:01 increase silence to 3-5 seconds before your next line.
2:04 increase silence to 3-5 seconds before your next line.
4:02 remove the word "had"; it should be "and been toasted by a Baronet"
6:10 reduce silence to no more than 5 before your next line.
Also, optional fix the plosives. I am not an expert on this. I fix my by the fade in or fade out under Effects. Also Phil Chenevert has a great audacity editing instructional video. I have more recently directed my mike at my mouth and backed away from it. My volumes come out too low for Librivox standards but I just use the checker and mp3 gain analysis and then amplify the whole track at the end. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Dawn
Thank you for recording Lady Greville, Dawn! I am not accepting duplicate claims in this project at this time, but I hope you will consider contributing to other DRs currently being recorded. For example, there are still three parts available in "The Betrothal":

And if you'll allow repeats, for such tiny roles, I'd also take Mrs. Williams in Letter the Third.
Welcome to the DR side of LibriVox, Krista! I have signed you up for Augusta. I am not accepting duplicate claims for this project at this time, but you may wish to consider claiming one of the remaining three roles in "The Betrothal":

I'd be happy to take the part of Mrs Williams in the third letter.

I know this is quite impertinent of me, but may I please request a short extension, David?

Yes, that's not a problem. Considering that I am currently unable to record, I may need an extension myself.
