I've corrected the Hz setting for Lord Peter's first three chapters:

https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/whosebody_peter_1.mp3 (Duration: 9:32)
https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/whosebody_peter_2.mp3 (Duration: 20:46)
https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/whosebody_peter_3.mp3 (Duration: 14:37)

Audacity was very reluctant to save the new Hz setting, but I finally subdued its resistance.

Resistance was futile.

Thanks, those are loaded into the MW for Lynette.

Give it the old Borg treatment! I wonder why it does weird stuff like that - must be the weather. I've got the worst low-front sinus headache today.

Lord Peter chs. 1 and 2 both PL OK

Chapter 3 needs a "Yes" inserted at 14:04. Here's the line, (which also needs the "said Peter" pulled out on the script for the Narrator, Ciufi):

-------

Duchess: “That’s quite true, dear; she was a most delightful girl, and they say her daughter is just like her. I rather lost sight of them when she married, and you know your father didn’t care much about business people, but I know everybody always said they were a model couple. In fact it was a proverb that Sir Reuben was as well loved at home as he was hated abroad. I don’t mean in foreign countries, you know, dear—just the proverbial way of putting things—like ‘a saint abroad and a devil at home’—only the other way on, reminding one of the Pilgrim’s Progress.”

“Yes,” said Peter, “I daresay the old man made one or two enemies.”

Duchess: “Dozens, dear—such a dreadful place, the City, isn’t it? Everybody Ishmaels together—though I don’t suppose Sir Reuben would like to be called that, would he? Doesn’t it mean illegitimate, or not a proper Jew, anyway? I always did get confused with those Old Testament characters.”

Can I put you in for Sugg?
Well, here is Sugg:

https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/whosebody_sugg_03.mp3
https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/whosebody_sugg_06.mp3
https://librivox.org/uploads/knotyouraveragejo/whosebody_sugg_12.mp3

Interesting character. Really, kind of an important one in the whole flow of the play, but he has really only 14 lines in the entire play. Some of those were broken up by 'stage directions', but really that was it. Nice to be so important in the development of the play, but not have to learn many lines.
