Yes, you do pause for stage directions, blueriveriris wrote: ↑November 24th, 2021, 11:56 am Two questions,
1. Do I pause for every stage direction in the script?
2. Is there going to be a set tune for the song that Martha and Abel sing in scene 1?
Anna Kate
and yes, I there is a set tune, but I haven't gotten a chance to post it yet; I'll try to do that in a few minutes.

Chorus Prologue

This is a first attempt at the Prologue Chorus. I found it difficult to fit the words to your accompaniment so this probably sounds pretty bad. If it is not acceptable I could try again but it would be a lot easier to use the traditional tune. Otherwise I could just read Zachary and leave the chorus to others

Here's first attempt at Martha scenes 4 and 5. I'll finish 1 just as soon as I have the tune to the song!

Ok, I have posted a youtube link to a video for you to sing along with. If sheet music would help, just let me know!blueriveriris wrote: ↑December 3rd, 2021, 10:45 am https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/mysteryplay_martha_4.mp3

Alright! So when I record, do I play the video and sing along with it, or should I memorize the tune and do it a cappella?

You play the video using headphones and sing along, so you are singing with the video, but only your voice is picked up on your mic.

Yeah, I figured that out... After I asked, but I always have to be sure of every thing before I record.MaryAnnSpiegel wrote: ↑December 5th, 2021, 3:16 pm You play the video using headphones and sing along, so you are singing with the video, but only your voice is picked up on your mic.
