In case you wonder why we don't just delete the files from completed PL OK acts now instead of putting them into a "Files to be deleted" part of the MW: they can help you when you make the cast list for the catalog page.

Thanks, Todd

and Act 3 is PL ok right away. The plotting of Cenci's demise...we are all soooo evil  Sounds great ! Very craftily edited, Jake. Looking forward to the rest.

Thanks

just had a listen to Act 2 and we all sound great together. What drama, and Cenci sounds so evil  no wonder they are all trembling before him.

I have a couple of PL notes for you Jake, but on the whole it was splendidly stitched together, the pacing was good:

> at 8:23: (p. 26) "Cenci, aside" – it's best to include the name of the character here, since the stage directions right before mention Beatrice and Bernardo, so it is as if this is now again the first line of Cenci

> at 19:05: (p. 30) "and we trust imagination" – Adrian said "and we trust not imagination" which changes the meaning of the statement. You could try cutting out the "not", and if that doesn't sound good, maybe Adrian could re-do this one line ? In case he is not bookmarked to the thread anymore, you may contact him by PM to make sure he sees the note.

And I moved the files from Act 2 now to under "Files to be deleted". You could do that for the next finished acts as well, so they are out of the way.

Thanks, on to the next act...

Sonia
Thank you for these comments and all your info you and Todd have given to help me with my first major play  much appreciated.
I've had a go at editing Adrian's line - let me know what you think. If you don't think it works, I'll ask him to do the line again.
And thanks for the PL on Act 3. Sorry you're listening to it out of order . At least your part was in every Act so you already have a vague idea of the plot threads.

Here is Act 1 ready for PL:

Did I leave too much gap between credits in the dramatis personae? I wasn't sure exactly how fast it should run through. Hope I found an acceptable balance.

I've finished editing Act 4, but I'm just waiting on 2 words to be re-recorded.

Would you rather I submit it and and spot PL the two words when they come in, or wait until it's complete? @Sonia

no let's wait, best to upload as little as possible. With every upload there may be potential errors. Anyway, I will not PL before Monday.

sorry, I seem to have overlooked this post on the day you posted it  Just had a listen to it all now and Act 1 is a perfect opener to this play.

The voice credits are not too spaced, it sounds ok to me. Well done, all in all. PL ok.

Thanks

No worries at all. I'm still waiting on some missed lines for the final two acts, so there was no rush. The final two acts are all edited, so once the missing lines are in, I'll slot them in and then be ready to upload straight away.

Thanks for the PL, and glad you thought Act I was ok! Of course, our Lucretia was tremendous, so it is no wonder...

the deed is done ! This killing scene really was nicely plagiarised from Macbeth  Excellent editing again, Jake, no problems for giving it a PL ok right away.

Well done, and excellently dramatically played out by all !
