A Dorothy Sayers DR? Yes, please! I haven't read this one, though, so I'm not familiar with the characters. I'd love to read a role, but I have no idea which one I might be best suited for. :hmm: Any suggestions?

Well, shoot, there are only very small female roles left. If you can do a tiny bit of a French accent ( and actually read a little French, more or less) the Young Woman in ch. 11 is a compelling little part. Otherwise, Lady Swaffham in chapter 7 has a few nice lines, or Mrs. Thipps - only a few lines, but a nice cranky old lady vibe. Sayers doesn’t seem to have much for women in her books until much later in the series, when Harriet Vane finally comes along.

Correction : the Young Woman in ch. 11 is Russian, but speaks some French.

Boom!! All of them already :D

Bunter ch. 1, 2, 3 are beautifully PL OK

Ch. 4 needs this line inserted at 2:46: “If you’d kindly hold one end of this bit of linoleum, Mrs. Pemming, I’ll hold up this end while Miss Mabel operates. Yes, Mr. Graves, it’s a hard life, valeting by day and developing by night—morning tea at any time from 6.30 to 11, and criminal investigation at all hours. It’s wonderful, the ideas these rich men with nothing to do get into their heads.” (bottom of p. 10 on the script) That's a great chapter for Bunter! (Would you like to record an augmented character credit on the front of Ch. 4 - "Mr. Bunter, Lord Peter's man, read by. . . " - your choice, just let me know)

Ch. 5, 7, 8, 9, and 13 are all PL OK

(I will edit this post with the others as I continue right now) - all finished now

Thanks so much, Jim!

Oh, I don't have time for more than a small role anyway. Mrs. Thipps sounds fun, but I'm not sure how convincing I'll be as an old lady. And I really think I should avoid both French and Russian! I'll take Lady Swaffham!

I have Dramatis Personae, Ch. 2, and Ch. 3 of Narrator in MW ready to listen.

I find doing this narration a fun change of pace, but I cringe to think how boring it must be to proof listen  (said Lord Peter....said Bunter..Said Wimsey...)!

But as a DPL it does give you a chance/make you read almost the entire story, not skipping a lot of uninterrupted dialog. :D

I've got everything queued for attention tomorrow. :)

Eh, I don't mind PLing them. Goes so much faster than editing my recordings, so it makes a nice break from that!

Narrator 2 and your part of the DP are both PL OK

Ch. 3 has an extra "said Parker methodically" at 1:05 - 1:15
