And, yes, even though I am obviously an American, I sometimes do read "clerk" as "clark," probably due to the dozens of times I have listened to "A Christmas Carol!"

No problem at all MozartJr. The source material says clerk and so I went with your original suggestion. It is no biggie, really.

Take care,

Greg

P.S. Not to be confused with Apollo Brown https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_Brown

One last comment on the "clerk" "clark" discussion, since this is an English story, I guess "clark' would technically be correct.

Michele,

I notice that this seems to be waiting for a PL. I can do that for you if you would like. :D

Michele,

As expected, the reading was perfect, but there were three places where there were long periods of silence. They were at 1:44, 2:01 and 4:19. Other that that small fix, it was great.

Gaps in the narration (or really any reader file) will get fixed up when the story gets edited, so I'd call this PL OK then.

You can't PL your own file. BUT as you are editor, you could decide to wait and have it PL'd after you edit it together with the other stuff. (Usually better to get it PL'd by someone quicker though - before your recording setup might change, for example, which would make corrections more noticeable.)

Thanks, Todd

Oh hah, that makes sense
Has there been someone who has taken over final files as DPL who could do it?

No DPL for this project - each story BC is responsible for arranging for someone to do it - often just a post here is enough to get volunteers.

Thanks, Todd
