Thank you. All set up.

Thanks Todd...
Just one question; am I the one who PLs the recordings for the Eye of Apollo, or is that Bookworm?
T'is up to you to PL them or arrange for someone else to do them.

Thanks, Todd

Hi,

Could I claim Joan Stacey?

Also, how is Mr. Flambeau's name supposed to be pronounced? FLAM - bo (long o sound)? I just don't want to have a different pronounciation to others.

EDIT: I suppose it would also be handy to state the DR I'd like to be involved in. It's "The Eye of Apollo".

Thank you both.

FLAM - bo (long o sound) seems fine to me, but most of us do not care so long as you are consistent within your file - different pronunciations could just be different accents....

Thanks, Todd

Hi Greg,
Overall, it sounds great... there is just one small thing. @05:49, it sounds like you say "My clark" instead of "My clerk" which is what the text says.
That's all... nothing big :D
Thanks,
Mozartjr

If it had been Alan or Algy or Michele Eaton or others it would have been pronounced 'clark', an accent thing. I am not sure if this would fall under the pronunciation thing or not.

Hi Mozartjr,

I just thought I'd bring to your attention the fact that I'm Australian, and I, like Greg, pronounce "clerk" as "clark". If you'd prefer me to pronounce it as "clerk" rather than "clark", I'm happy to do so, but I'd automatically pronounce it as "clark". I hope that all makes sense.

Cheers, Aligator.

Thanks to all for the clark/clerk pronunciation correction! I had no idea... hope I didn't offend anyone :?
Greg, you can just leave it be, that's fine.
Sorry about that!

Here is Kalon the prophet with the one noted correction (The Eye of Apollo):

https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/apollo_kalon_chesterton.mp3

And, yes, even though I am obviously an American, I sometimes do read "clerk" as "clark," probably due to the dozens of times I have listened to "A Christmas Carol!"

No problem at all MozartJr. The source material says clerk and so I went with your original suggestion. It is no biggie, really.

Take care,

Greg
