Tom, Chapter 1:

Just one note:
0:21 p. 6
"I've got a nice place here." - I hear "I've got no place here."

Nice reading, Larry! You have such a kind pleasant voice - that makes it all the more shocking to hear such poisonous ideas come from such a seemingly friendly person.

Thanks!

Fantastic, West! I love your characterization of Gatsby's butler. Too bad the part is so small. I would love to hear more of your voice. I hope to hear your amazing voice in many more projects!

Thanks, PL OK and that's a wrap for Gatsby's Butler.

Oh, if that's all, then I feel good.
I'll get to this and also check out Chapter 9

Thanks for the PL

You should feel good! Nice reading. Chapters 2 and 4 are PL OK.

I have one tiny note for Chapter 6:

2:21
The line reads: ‘You didn’t look so interested.’ I hear ‘You don’t look so interested.’
I think the tense is important here because Daisy's answer is in past tense -- and also because they are standing outside after the party assessing the party, so past tense would fit better.

Chapter 7
-- I just have some very small notes:

9:14 "...unless you brought the groceries to the back door..." I hear bought instead of brought.

9:21 This is small, but important contextually:
Daisy loved me when she married me and she loves me now.’ I hear "and" instead of "when". But the whole issue is that Gatsby wants Daisy to say she never loved Tom, even back when they got married.

14:20 "He says he knows the car that did it…"
I hear "He says he knows that the car that did it…. (this could be confusing).

Thanks, Larry -- great job with a very difficult role!

What are slots 10 and 11? Would love to participate if those happen to be openings.

Sorry, we're full here. Keep your eye out for future parts. I have several other classics scripted and ready to roll.
Thanks,
TJ

Nick Chapters 1, 6, and 7 are now PL OK!
Fantastic, Larry!

...and oh, wow, such an unlikable character, and you had me pitying and even sympathizing with him! Kudos! Chapter 9 is also PL OK! Thank you so much, Larry.
