Let me update the "Where do we stand at this point?" list.
1 - Shrew - OPEN; one part unclaimed
2 - Jealousy - OPEN; one part unclaimed
3 - Fix - Almost DONE; final being PL'd by wib66
4 - Lady - FULL; one part ready for PL, one part has PL notes
5 - Roadhouse - OPEN; two parts unclaimed, three parts ready for PL
6 - Glen - DONE
7 - Rehearsal - READY TO EDIT
8 - Trysting - OPEN; one part unclaimed, two parts ready for PL
9 - Circle - READY TO EDIT
10 - News - OPEN; two parts unclaimed, one part not submitted, one part needs Spot PL
It would be really good to get the PL's done quickly. You never know if readers will be around to make fixes and if you delay you might have a big problem.
Thanks, Todd

Hi Todd,
Is The Jealousy of Le Barbouillé being read in French accents, or straight in whatever accents the readers have? In the latter case I'd be glad to read Le Barbouillé himself--I've had a bit of practice reading male roles and I think I can readily manage impotent fury, egotistical aggrievement, and a lamentable lack of appreciation for the Doctor's learned eloquence. But in the former case I'll gladly leave the unhappy husband to someone who can sound plausibly French, which I cannot. (I'm never sure how this should work with translated plays.)

Back from a low-internet no-Librivox year in Georgia. Glad to be with you again.
What ever accent you want to bring to the part. If you think he should sound like someone from New Jersey or South Bronx, or whatever/wherever - go ahead, your choice. True in all my plays, reflecting my own linguistic failings perhaps.
Feel free to listen to other members of the cast if you wish - such as The Doctor whom you mention, or Angelique....
Thanks, Todd

Thank you very much for the permission to listen! What a delightfully zany and variegated set of readings... I'm looking forward to joining in.

Yup. That sounds like us. As well asdelightfully zany and variegated
which I have on a wall poster. Aren't you glad you found us?somewhat theatrical and mildly eccentric, but quite harmless
