So I'm not butchering it, and saying it like everyone else, how is the Minots' name pronounced? Accent on the 2nd syllable? And is it "minOATS", "minOTTS", "minYOTTS", "minYOES". I'm probably overthinking this, aren't I?

Oh! If I read it in any of the narrator parts yet, I probably read My'-not. (Like Minot Air Force Base in South Dakota)
Yes, that sounds good. Let's say it how our narrator has been reading it. Thank you for asking about that.

Glad to see that Mrs. Grant 8, 9 and 16 are PL'd okay. I cannot see reference to chapter 12 yet
I PL'ed that Chapter 12 file a week or two ago because you were the first one to read that "Washington crossing the Delaware!" line and I wanted to put a link to it in the script. It's PL OK, too. :)

Here is Frank Minot for chapter 3: <https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/jackandjill_03_frank.mp3> (2:10)
Would it be easier for you if I waited and submitted all my chapters at once? Or does it not really matter?
Thank you!

Either way is fine. :)

Jasmin and I started reading Minot the French way "Min-OWE", as in the Wheeler-Minot Farmhouse, the Henry David Thoreau Birthplace, in Concord, Massachusetts, where Louisa May Alcott also lived. But then we checked it and discovered that Lynette has been recording it "MY-not" like the North Dakota town. Since Lynette is faster and further than we are, we just went back and re-recorded it "MY-not".

Like the motto for Minot, ND, we thought "why not Minot?" :D

Aw, man. Too bad it never occurred to me to check that name. Married to the Air Force for 29 years . . . "Why not Minot" is a part of our casual conversational vocab! lolol

Sorry about that. My fault for not putting up a pronunciation guide.

"Why not Minot? Freezin's the reason!" :D

(It's no problem for us. We've only had to say the name a couple of times so far.)
