Thanks Larry. I started PL-ing your recording this afternoon and absolutely loved your rendition of Horatio. :-)

I should point out, though, that you only recorded Act III, Scene II. There are some more lines from Horatio in Scene I:

https://archive.org/stream/rolloswildoatcom00kum#page/74/mode/2up/search/horatio

No rush, obviously... and my apologies for not making it clearer that each act was subdivided into two scenes. This is one of the drawbacks of using an archive.org source text, I'm afraid. :|
Oh, my! How did I ever miss that?
Well, more fun for me!
I think I'll concentrate on Mascarille, and come back and pick up the missing scene.
I did think there was a gap, but it just didn't dawn on me what it was.
On the road again, so delays are possible

Don't worry. Almost everyone is having trouble with this source text. I really wish I could find another. :hmm:

And seriously, no rush. I could use the extra time to record my own lines (which I wanted to do today, but surprise... I'm sick).

Lydia's corrected acts I and III:

https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/rolloswildoat_lydia_1_128kb.mp3
https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/rolloswildoat_lydia_3_128kb.mp3

It's somewhat easy to see why I missed these lines. They were in isolation. I skimmed through to find Lydia's lines, so it was easy to miss them. Had I done a text search (which looks possible in this PDF) it would have found those lines. :)
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew

Hi Chuck,

Here is George Lucas:

https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/rolloswildoat_lucas_1.mp3
https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/rolloswildoat_lucas_2.mp3
https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/rolloswildoat_lucas_3.mp3

I decided that I wouldn't play him as a "good" actor, since that was not his preferred profession anyway. I also gave him my attempt at a Transatlantic accent for some period flavor and, well, comedic effect.

Thanks! You are too sweet! This is such an entertaining play. I can't wait to hear the finished product. :D

Thank you so much. :-)

Sorry it's taking me so long to PL these files. I've been hit with a pretty huge stack of papers to grade. Still trying to finish all of them up before I allow myself any free time on LV. :-/

I'll try to get to these soon though.

These sound awesome! Thank you! :-)

I'm gonna go ahead and edit them into my rough cut of Act I. I'll PL as I edit.

EDIT: I'm currently in the middle of a paper grading rut, so I might have to postpone editing this project for a couple of weeks. Please know that I'll get to it shortly, I promise. :-)
