I read this whole thread today. 8-)

I've just visited pdsounds - the website with public domain recordings of human activity and nature. I listened to some water-related recordings. I assume the Stephen who apparently kept the website is the same Stephen who started this thread? I guess, though, the site is now abandoned- the last posts I saw on the forum were from 2010.
