Hey
Got my best dress on!
Thanks for the link Stephen, to Mr. Fine Wine. Its great fun to hear records that didn't make it to the wide-range radio back in the 60's when I listened ALL THE TIME! The sounds really take me back! I got to hear/see The Buddy Miles Express in person, up close and personal as they did in colleges back then. That was an awesome concert. I was having flashbacks. Also my brother was (still is) a musician in the late 50's through now. He plays sax, flute, bass, but started with the sax in the late 50's. I really was thrown back to when I used to sneak into the dances where my brother's band played. (I was a bit young to get in the front door).
I'm listening at work so I warned the others here that I was getting my groove on and in da funk, having a party on my own! They will be listening in too very soon no doubt!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing your story, Katwal.
Perhaps check out the other programms on WFMU sometime. There is much to discover. http://www.wfmu.org/recentarchives.php
For instance they have a reggae wizzard who is for reggae what Mr.Finewhine is for Soulmusic.
http://www.wfmu.org/listen.m3u?show=19490&archive=28382
Or Three Cord Monte, which is an awesome 3 hour show of interesting, uhm, rock, i guess.
If one song is really too hard for you, skip a few minutes. There is so much!
