There are two projects over at Archive, deriving now or just finished deriving, so it's a race to see which gets in the catalog to be #15000!
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart

And the winner is...either commonsparrow3 or SonOfTheExiles, depending on the rules and what time zone you're in!

Let's see, time zone... what date did I pick? Oh yes, I'm actually in GMT-48. Congratulations to commonsparrow3 and/or SonOfTheExiles... and to all of us with a round number!

This was great fun! (Especially since I got so close to the right date!)
Happy to split the bragging rights and moment of fame with my fellow LV-er on the other side of the world!
And happy that LV now has 15,000 works in our catalog! Now, onward to 16,000!

Hello all, just got back from the Far West of NSW. The flies say hello.

Those of you who followed the Miles Gloriosus DR forum thread will realise that it's only natural that the 'grandson of Venus' would win by picking St Valentines Day.

They tell the yarn about the cop who got shot with one of Cupid's arrows. He drags Cupid into the police station and up to the grizzled desk sergeant for charging ... "Assault with a deadly weapon, indecent exposure, and ... I think I love you, Sarge."

Cheers,
Chris
