Hi there,
is there a software comparable to audacity for editing video?
For a PC, Windows 10.
It is just for private use and for short sequences only. By editing I mean: cutting sequences, copying, inserting, reassembling etc.
I would prefer public domain but this is no absolute requirement.
Thanks a lot for your thoughts.
Software for editing video?

In a video of my favourite youtuber, she mentioned "Pinnacle", but I don't remember much else (and I didn't check it out). I think she said it wasn't free but not very expensive, and couldn't do all the fancy stuff she was able to do on her Mac.
Cheers, Ava.

Da Vinci Resolv is free for personal use. It is a commercial product with a steep learning curve.
I use Shotcut, which is free and open source, for my own YouTube videos and the weekly church Zoom recording editing.
It's less capable than Resolv, but easier to learn.
Best Regards,
Adrian
