This is a contest with no prizes, except perhaps 15 seconds of fame.

Within the last 24 hours, we surpassed our previous record for number of cataloged projects in a year! The previous record was 1083 projects, set in 2013.

As of this posting, we're at 1087... and it's only October 24! (Well, where I am in the world, it is.)

So, here's where the contest comes in: guess the number of cataloged projects for 2020!

In the spirit of fairness, here is some data:

Month Project Count
11-2020 97
10-2020 119
09-2020 110
08-2020 145
07-2020 120
06-2020 113
05-2020 105
04-2020 124
03-2020 93
02-2020 91
01-2020 88
(It is a record to have so many consecutive months with 100 or more projects cataloged.)

Year Project Count
2020 1336 (Dec. 31)
2019 1054
2018 1037
2017 1033
2016 1047
2015 1033
2014 966
2013 1083

So, what do you think? We'll see whose guess is the closest on January 1!

1327.

Are overshots disqualified? Or is it just a question of who is closest (over / under)?

No guess on my part, I just wanted to ask what is up with the small print? Is it to make the contest look more official, or are you legally bound to write this?
EDIT: OK, I read some of it, I get it now

When it's fine print on LibriVox, I always read it, because it's so rarely seen!

I'll go for a nice even 1300.
