* Recording for LibriVox, but also recording for YouTube screen shares....

Everything except LibriVox (yes, this is where knitting gets discussed. Now includes non-LV Volunteers Wanted projects)

I set up my Logitech h390 Headset w/ mic to properly record using audacity on my Windows computer.... I noticed then, after going through all the settings in Audacity I also had to do a YouTube screen share video, that I been uploaded to YouTube and the sound is horrible!

Could it be so that the settings that are needed for audacity and LibriVox compromise the sound if you're recording for any other venue?

I hope this makes sense.

No real idea but as there are several people uploading our catalogue items to youtube channels and they are often there before we have finished cataloguing in seems unlikely ,

What made you think you had to do a YouTube screen share video? Nothing in Audacity does this. I have never heard of it before but the solution will probably be simply stopping the screen share.

Hmm, as Phil says this is not an Audacity setting. Perhaps it's an option when setting up the Logitech headphones, that you could switch off? Or can you give more details of exactly where (in which Windows program) you are being required to link to YouTube?

Did you download a clean version of Audacity yourself, from https://www.audacityteam.org/download , or did Audacity come bundled with some other software, such as the headphone software?
