do you know this feeling, when...

when you come online, there is a worldwide epidemic going on, and there is no one online?

last two weeks it happens every few days to me.
today online: google bot, bing bot, schrm (and on second glance one other registered hidden)

Obviously everybody is practicing social distancing and isolation, taking it very seriously... Did you know you can get a virus by visiting some web sites? Better stay away altogether

Usually after getting that feeling, I find myself waking up soon.

I suppose that happens most for those of you in Europe, Asia, and Australia. It happens rarely in this time zone.

Remember the good old days of usenet bulletin boards and other "chat with strangers" platforms? They're much more rare nowadays.

oh yes, oh no,social distancing and virus in the internets..
well..

yes for sure it has to do with timezones, also.
but i do look at that part of the forum...well.. for a year or so, only. i think, since i read the "who is online" thread.
and in this year, it rarely happened...

i do hope, you people all over the world stay healthy..
