If someone were to ask you where to find a friendly forum community, what would you recommend to them?

Aside from forum.librivox.org, of course, I would immediately think of the forums at garden.org -- although unfortunately they have very few members outside North America.

What's your go-to for friendship online?

The forums at Distributed Proofreaders (https://www.pgdp.net/phpBB3/), a Project Gutenberg affiliate, are one of my favorites. They are primarily working forums, like to ones at LibriVox, but have areas for other topics of conversation. The volunteers at DP are friendly and very helpful.

(Note: For full transparency, I have been an almost daily volunteer at Distributed Proofreaders for over 10 years. :) )
