Everything except LibriVox (yes, this is where knitting gets discussed. Now includes non-LV Volunteers Wanted projects)

In the 60's/70's the BBC put out a kids tv show called Jackanory

Each episode had a celebrity reading a children's book, to the children watching

Memorable celebrities included Bernard Cribbins, Prince Charles, Rik Myall, to name a very few

So you could say Jackanory was a seed to the birth of LibriVox :)

Interesting... I'll have to look into that!

One of my favorite series as a kid was a 90s show called Wishbone, about a Jack Russell Terrier who re-enacted stories from classic books. :)
