Is LV a form of escapism?

Everything except LibriVox (yes, this is where knitting gets discussed. Now includes non-LV Volunteers Wanted projects)

Both interesting replies. My flight from reality is to go for a walk in the park, which I'm under pressure to do every day, although it's something I love doing anyway. (The pressure comes from something on four legs ...)(Or better still, a walk in the country).

That sounds like a great way of esapism! I agree with a few others, though, LibriVox is my way of escapism. On hard days this is the place I come to (since I am not physically well enough to exercise at all). I find myself getting addicted, the worse days I have the more I'm on here. Probably not too healthy, but hey I'll take it :D. This place means so much to me, though, I enjoy myself thoroughly here.
Constructive criticism always welcome
