Copywrong

Most texts explaining copyright are real eye glazers. Not so an article I ran across in The New Yorker from 2014 entitled “Crooner in Rights Spat.” It’s a very readable account of the absurd state of US copyright law and how it got that way.

I agree--it's exceptionally well written and is the best summary I've seen so far of the principles involved.
