[GERMAN] Readers wanted for short poems

Everything except LibriVox (yes, this is where knitting gets discussed. Now includes non-LV Volunteers Wanted projects)

Dear readers,

I am a creator of short poems.
As these are written in German,
I'll use the same language to show 'em. :D
(Sry, my first try in English.)

– Klara Windei

I think you will need to explain why you want to use our readers and what you plan to do with the recordings ?
In case you do not know , Librivox is not able to use them in our catalogue

Hi Anne,

I'd like to have audio files with interpretations of the poems to share them in the net. As the files would also be BY-NC-ND licenced, there is no other option.

There is one public domain text, but it is a shanty, a song, which would be hard to read without singing. And sadly, it would probably not fit in here. (klarawindei.wordpress.com/2018/07/28/voller-segler/)

Do you know another place to find readers? I've looked around, they seem hard to find.
On the other hand: The texts are short, it should be done in no time.

Best regards

[Update: As my reading skills are not that good, I'll look for CD covers to create. (Found in volunteering thread, f 18, t 877.)]

I don't speak German, but I think our readers who do may wish to know whether you are looking for them to volunteer their time and donate their voice, or if you are planning to pay them for their recordings.

Hi Anne/annise,

I looked for missing covers and found the respective thread [1] and wiki page [2].
As the quality of the images with pixel formats is not that good, I created new versions.
For contributions in the wiki, one has to contact an admin with PM [3].
I can not contact admins, as "We are sorry, but you are not authorised to use this feature. You may have just registered here and may need to participate more in discussions to be able to use this feature."
Now I uploaded the images to the Internet Archive [4]. As the files shouldn't stay there forever, they are tmp files, deleted in four weeks.
Feel free to add them.
All in all, I think it would look better to use the colored logo, right?

Update: Some files are ready in the wiki.

I apologize for the inconvenience.
I was not aware of the community spirit (in fact, there was another contact who suggested to use the off-topic forum).
The initial idea was to use the CC licence to enable sharing and prevent commercial use as well as cutting out the creators (writer and reader).
Don't waste your time with this thread.
Mods: From my POV, this thread can be closed/archived/deleted.
