Does anyone know if I download iTunes on my computer if it will take up a lot of room, wreak havoc, esp. with the performance of Audacity? I thought someone once told me it did, so just wanted confirmation.
Thanks!

I have both iTunes and audacity on my laptop and they have never interfered with each other in any way. How much room iTunes takes up depends on what you use it for. If you have lots of movies/TV shows (and dowload them which you do not have to if space is an issue) it will take up a lot more space than if you just keep some music or audiobooks on it. I don’t think iTunes itself takes up much space, it is what you download on it that does that.

See that not all file types are associated with it, to avoid some annoying problems.
