Just curious - do they ask your name or anything ? Or give any privacy promises or usage promises ?

No they don't ask your name, but it's for a public domain project.
Best to visit the website and see what they say.

I think it's a great idea, and as we all know , PD means anyone can do anything with it so maybe if someone were making a living from their voice they should investigate ? Most of us are not and are unlikely ever to be, but some do or hope to.
