A bunch of movie reviews, and links to old TV shows, film shorts, books, concerts, indie and older music. The Unz literary (Truman Capote, Mary Roberts Rinehart, Carson McCullers, Ralph Ellison, Marjorie K. Rawlings, et al) links are largely not in the public domain -- the most recent one is a profile of Isak Dinesen from 1963 -- but readable from the site.

Several writers who haven't gotten on Project Gutenberg yet, and a few who have. Weirdly, neither of Mary Wilkins Freeman's first two collections of short stories have made the cut. The Djuna Barnes article is from a New Orleans literary magazine of the 1920's; she talks about meeting James Joyce in Paris. The longest piece is Ch 1 of an E. M. Delafield novel. All of these are on Archive and pre-1923.

I've started a weekly public domain magazine. Each issue focuses on four writers in five genres: fiction, non-fiction, poetry, science fiction, and/or mystery. Each issue also has at least one woman writer. The cover art utilizes works from the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Creative Commons releases.
