Metal detector.
Actually had them go off, luckily the security guys look at me, assume me to be harmless, (Which I am), and then kindly ask me to take off my belt.
Such is life.

Would you rather have 100 sheep or 100 goats?
(Woolly, I know your answer. )

Noticed your second post Web, I don't own a gun, so that would be REALLY bad.

Would you rather have a boring repetitive job that paid $90,000/year or an engaging job that you really enjoy but it pays $45,000/year?

I'd have to go with the lower-paying but engaging job.

Would you rather go without electricity for a month, or go without running water for a month?
Between being a full-time college student and working 20+ hours per week, I'm not able to be involved at LV these days, but I remain a loyal fan and look forward to a triumphant return sometime in the (probably distant) future.

Electricity. I'd hate to get my water from the creek.

Would you rather have the ability to read minds, or the ability to plant ideas in others' minds?

Rich and ugly, I've had enough of being poor and good looking!

Would you rather live at the top of a mountain or the bottom?

Bottom, I think it would be quieter and easier to record.

Would you rather fly by plane or travel by car across the country?

I'd rather travel by car across the country; I'd get to stop at museums and historical monuments on my way.

Would you rather live in an apartment in a big city or in a log cabin in the woods (in the middle of nowhere)?

I'd rather record.

Would you save your quiet dog or your noisy neighbour from drowning, if you could only save one?

Dramatic Readings of Bible passages

Some reason I decided to try to write fiction. And it sucked me far away from LibriVox into the world of writing, editing and blogging.

I'd rather save the dog(though we don't tend to act by "rathers" when saving people from drowning).

Would you rather having your town/city reach an all new low temperature or all new high temperature?

low temperature... I can pile up layer on layer of clothes... I might look like the michelin man, but at least I'd still be warm... whether there is only so much you can undress when it's hot :D

would you rather find the cure to some terrible disease (cancer, aids, ...) but never feel content with your life or be happy but never do anything remarkable with your life? :)

I think I would rather be happy, that could easily change if I or a loved one contracted a terrible disease.

Would you rather play a board game or a video game?

Dogs can swim.
Not all dogs, some of them are naturals, but others just don't have the strength to swim, particularly the shorter legged breeds.
And then there are the breeds that don't know how to swim, but can be taught.

I'd rather play a board game.

Would you rather always speak all your thoughts out loud, or never be able to speak again (not even using sign language)?
