Activities While Listening?

Everything except LibriVox (yes, this is where knitting gets discussed. Now includes non-LV Volunteers Wanted projects)

I was just wondering what everyone was up to while they listened to audiobooks? Not necessarily proof-listening. I'm wondering how long a list could get for tasks which at some level can be heart-warming and at others so monotonous one needs an audio program of some kind.

I find I can't really clean-as-in-organise during them b/c inevitably this involves stacks of paper one has to visual read, or books to put on the shelf, or stack somewhere... so my list thus far would be:

Washing the dishes
sewing
embroidery
mopping
cleaning the baseboards
cleaning those annoying crevices that require an old toothbrush
playing solitaire

Anything else I could add to this pile?

Only two options for me:
If I'm proof-listening, I'm reading along with the text. If I'm not proof-listening I'm in bed and about to sleep. :)

I often work on preparing texts for dramatic readings when I'm PLing things that don't require following along with the text. I also sometimes knit. :)
Between being a full-time college student and working 20+ hours per week, I'm not able to be involved at LV these days, but I remain a loyal fan and look forward to a triumphant return sometime in the (probably distant) future.

Good stuff! I forgot about putting away the laundry and such! That's something I need to do today.

I cannot do anything verbal while listening. I may THINK I'm hearing the audio, but when I go back, I realize I hadn't heard it at all. So I cannot PL while doing anything like making scripts or surfing the Web.

I sometimes play games on my computer while PL'ing, but that's as far as I can go with that. :)

Other things I do while listening:
- Cooking
- Cleaning (especially in the kitchen; less so when moving from room to room)
- Walking
- Driving

I will PL while cooking or walking; if I hear an error, I have to rush over to the computer, back up the recording, and listen to it again, noting the error this time. ;) While walking I'll memorize the time. If there are too many errors, that doesn't work. I COULD bring a piece of paper and small pencil, I suppose...
