You know you're addicted to Librivox when you find yourself calling a Chamber of Commerce in Michigan so you can be absolutely SURE of an odd pronunciation of their city.
Sheila, the nice lady who answered the phone assured me that Gratiot is pronounced: GRAH-shut . She lives there - she must know!

LOL laurie Anne. Once they are teenagers - WATCH OUT! I am happy when they roll in at that time. At least I know they are safe now.

You know your sister is addicted to Librivox when,
You and your brother are talking about a Detroit Tigers (baseball team) pitcher who is on the DL (disabled list), and your sister overhears you and asks, "What? He's on the download?"
Megan, I am glad I was not the only one who checked it at 1 A.M.!

Spinning donuts with my friends car.
KIDDING!!! I don't even have my license yet*. We were at my grandparents house for a birthday party and locked the keys in the car . . . twice! There was a bicycle wheel pressing against the lock button so every time you shut the door it locked it. Argh! So by the time we got home it was 1.
* I actually just passed my road test this morning!!! And I will not be spinning donuts when I do get my license.

When I first glanced at this and saw "spinning donuts" my mental image was like spinning plates on a stick, only with donuts... in a car... out the window.

Esther, maybe we shouldn't burst Laurie Anne's bubble just yet. She's got a few years before she figures out the teenage thing. Especially that "teenage boy" thing! 1AM sounds about normal to me. Now my girls may never leave the house......
You know you're addicted to Librivox when YOUR SON has figured out that you're addicted to librivox and he's figured out he gets more playing time on the X-BOX without you REALLY knowing he's played extra minutes. <Mom is walking away in utter shame now>
...when you're feeling guilty for not recording because you have to study for your upcoming finals
Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!
Mr. Wooster, how would you support a wife? Well, I suppose it depends on whose wife it was, a little gentle pressure beneath the elbow while crossing a busy street usually fits the bill. (P.G. Wodehouse)

Yeah, well, yours truly locked the keys in a second time, so instead of a 11:00 arrival, it ended up being 1! I can't tell you how many times I heard, "O.K., stop joking - you didn't really lock the keys in the car... did you?

"I just have to finish cataloging this book"
