Everything except LibriVox (yes, this is where knitting gets discussed. Now includes non-LV Volunteers Wanted projects)

Wow, it just goes to show how tastes differ. Out of curiosity, I listened to a few minutes of the reading the author of the first blog post criticized, and I thought the reader had an absolutely lovely voice, with lots of expression and different character voices.

The first blog poster added a further comment to her post -- seems she'd been listening to a different recording (not clear from where.)

Yeah, t'was for the forum here ... that was the old question to prove that someone was a human and not a spambot (or an impatient spammer. Though patient spammers can't be stopped so easily.)

Your links sometimes are scary, but I enjoy checking them :D
I told my library about librivox (seeing that the only free source of audiobooks in Denmark is only supported by non i stuff, and all the young people with iPods, iPhones and the like complain all the time) and the woman looked at me like I was crazy. She did not even write it down... :(

Must admit, I had a serious internal reaction (quite aside from the text) against the words "get LibriVox to".
