I hit 900 yesterday... I wonder when am I going to get to 1000?

ETA - 47 posts in 3 days? Is that really possible? That's about 15 posts per day...

I don't know if this is the proper place, but it's close enough. I have passed a LibriVox milestone. I have been assigned my first section in a language other than English!! Yay. :)

Milestones...

30 was no big deal. I got married when I was 30.

40? Nope. Kids in early primary school. The 40 "milestone" went by as a blur in the rear-vision mirror.

I hit 50 back in January. Kids now in their final years of high school. And, may I just say, a distinct improvement on their Old Man.

They say that, the thing about hitting 50 is, 50 hits back. I'm going to go and sit among the kookaburras this coming weekend, and commune with their attitude to anything as foolishly serious as that!

Cheers,

50 is great. just think of all the people who did not have the good fortune to live to that age.
