Oh dear! I should have saved my struggle with the Dutch names in the intro to the Laughing Cavalier! I recorded the names every way I could think of, then just edited it down after I worked it out!

"Disingenuousness" is a tricky enough word without tripping over a sneeze on the way through it.

I just had to read "the night was dark and tempestuous" in an actual book - it took me three goes to say it without bursting out laughing!

And this is my worst ever run with the horrible "rubber gloves". What were they wearing??

I've had no "suitable" blooper. Many times me cursing myself/many authors for their difficult vocabulary but nothing broadcastable

These are all from last year, I think. :)

https://librivox.org/uploads/bloopers/familiarity_sp.mp3 (how dare the author put "familiarity", "aesthetic", and "colonists" into the same sentence! They're not even hard words by themselves...)
https://librivox.org/uploads/bloopers/example_sp.mp3 (changes the meaning slightly, doesn't it?)

Quick taste of Portia for Merchant of Venice - Shakespeare in 2 Weeks edition (seriously guys, go and volunteer! It's a barrel of laughs  )

And just for a nice contrast, I've found my bloopers from Romeo and Juliet around 2/3 years ago (Gosh, I was young!)

This one doesn't contain any actual flub, it's just that this accidental sequence of words sounds rather amusing.
(I'm recording a Narrator in this one, the blank spot is where a dialogue is supposed to go in.)

There is a box in my room that one of my cats has recently taken to sleeping in. I'm sure it couldn't be picked up by my microphone but his snoring was irritating me. The rustling noise is him making an escape lol.

Since I last recorded, I rescued a cat. She does not like when I am out of her sight and follows me from room to room. It appears I will have to learn to take her presence into account. This is one minute captured throughout a 17 minute chapter.

1 minute of pestering while recording.

I make a lot of mistakes, but don't usually post bloopers. This one however was worth capturing because it just snuck up on me out of the blue, in the middle of part 13 of a chapter on Swimming for "Enquire within about Everything" . . . yes, "everything" means "everything" . . .
