It is obvious that the guy who made the first negative comment was only fishing for free stuff on the internet, I'm sure he didn't bother to take a look around the site before downloading anything. It seems to me he is one of those people who are meek in real life and look to the internet for the anonymity it provides in letting him be a total a**. Reviews from people like that are there just to be ignored.

Wow! Cool! Thanks. :D
No problem. Recording it is a lot more work than what I'm doing. It is on the M4B catalog now and I'm about to make a torrent file so people who can't download from archive will have an alternate way to get the book.

I had no idea this book was finished already -- looking forward to listening, Nicholas :)

I love this image - does anyone know who the artist is (or was)?

That's a great service, Jonathan! :) BTW, has this cover been added to the main cover page as well or just the MP4 catalog?

Jonathon has his hands pretty full with what he is doing - but I'm sure he would let you have a image if you wanted to make a CD cover

Yes. If anyone want to use any of the M4B covers I've made for CD covers they are welcome to them.

I got my first negative comment!

http://www.archive.org/details/introduction_to_metaphysics_0909_librivox

I will say that "Introduction to Metaphysics" doesn't lend itself to a very dramatic delivery. I tried to read it in such a way that people could actually understand what was being said.
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart

Wouldn't worry too much - people who say "THIS WOMAN" actually believe a woman's place is uneducated and pregnant , and bringing his slippers whilst listening to him expounding his views :D

Sorry to hear that. Again, someone has a very big misunderstanding of how LibriVox works:
Please be more selective in your voice volunteers.
LibriVox isn't selective at all! That's the point. Anyone can record. If this person doesn't like the recording, why not read the book in text format or buy an audiobook? Only by buying an audiobook can listeners get a fully professional, selected voice talent.

We're offering a service for free. Are they angry because they want a refund?

Yeah, I bet he would suddenly remember his manners if he wasn't hiding behind a pseudonym. Pay no attention, Tricia, clearly he has no taste at all. :)
