We're recording WHAT??

Everything except LibriVox (yes, this is where knitting gets discussed. Now includes non-LV Volunteers Wanted projects)

LOL, David!

I also came here to put on record how sorry I am that:

~Life in a Tank, by Richard Haigh MC - mas

... is not a sequel to Finding Nemo. Although if someone wants to sign up as DPL just to be sure, that'd be handy.

Victorian Literature by Clement Shorter - iq

Victorian Literature Could be Shorter

This is true...
Between being a full-time college student and working 20+ hours per week, I'm not able to be involved at LV these days, but I remain a loyal fan and look forward to a triumphant return sometime in the (probably distant) future.

On the project There's Laughter in the Air, when I go to save a file --
thereslaughterintheair_##_gaver.mp3
I always mentally read it as "There! Slaughter on the Air!" (eek)
which seems to sum up my unedited recording very aptly.

LOL!

And, with a flagrant disregard for the topic title, I read this perfectly correctly:

Annals of a Quiet Neighborhood by G MacDonald-mas

All I want to know is -- when can I move in?

Saw this

[FR]Arsène Lupin contre Herlock Sholmès-neb

and thought "Is that Sherlock Holmes in French?"

"Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica."
This was in someone's signature. For some reason, I read it as:
Bears: beers battle the stars!
. . . and had to look twice.

For a moment I thought that The Rider on the White Horse was the The Rider of the White Horse. Unfortunately that book is not PD yet.

Dramatic Readings of Bible passages

Some reason I decided to try to write fiction. And it sucked me far away from LibriVox into the world of writing, editing and blogging.

Not exactly a title slip, but now that we're adding the 128kb onto the end of the file name, I do a double-take every time I send in a file with my initials. The one below has tripped me up several times--I just can't get over reading it as a sentence!
ccc13_iheardthebells_at_128kb.mp3
Talk about specific!
