"Against Celsius"? Hmmm, must be an argument in favor of Fahrenheit!
Oops, never mind ... it's actually "Against Celsus"!

I noticed that a recently launched collection of literary essays included one titled "On Polish". I immediately thought that it would be great if one of our Polish-speaking contributors could take it on, so as to do justice to this subject, rarely handled in English-language books. Then I read the opening line:
By Polish I mean a certain well-known and immediately recognizable condition of surface.

For the time being, I'll need a little more time than usual to PL sections that come in on weekdays. Thanks for your patience.

Not a LibriVox thing but…
I was reading Robert Fulghum’s book Uh-Oh and he mentioned the Monster Manual.

Upon rereading it turned out to be the Minister’s Manual.

Looking at my cat and what he did just last week, that makes perfect sense to me...

Larry just launched "The Bible Period" by Period. An odd name for an author...

Oh, "The Bible Period by Period", by Josiah Blake Tidwell...

My eye first registered "Lectures on Butler's Anatomy" while browsing the Launch Pad this morning. Hmm. Barrel chest, stiff upper lip...
